Faculty Teaching and Learning Scholars Network
The Faculty Teaching and Learning Scholars have the broad responsibility of promoting good practice in teaching and learning within their faculty and the broader community of the University of Wollongong. Each scholar provides leadership for a project, which addresses a need for supporting teaching improvement within the faculty.



Learning Leaders Program
Teaching, Learning & Curriculum is a module of the Leadership Development Program which is compulsory for all Heads at UOW. It covers the following areas:

  • Leadership roles in curriculum planning
  • Evaluation of programs for renewal and redirection
  • Facilitating faculty involvement in curriculum issues
  • Aligning program goals with teaching & learning plans
  • Supporting new teachers in teaching & learning
  • Identifying staff development needs
  • Recognising and rewarding good teaching
