Global Workplace Practice [GWP100]

Global Workplace Practice (GWP100)

GWP100 is an intensive zero credit point subject offered separately to Higher Degree Research and Sydney Business School (Sydney campus) students.

Higher Degree Research

GWP100 (HDR) is designed to provide Higher Degree Research students with tailored career management and job seeking strategies. While a PhD may lead to a career as a professor or researcher, it can also broaden your career options in fields you may have not yet considered. GWP100 will cover career pathways for PhD students both in academic and business contexts, and will also help you understand the Australian labour market, recruitment processes and cultural expectations in the workplace.

No matter what your area of research or career goal, GWP100 will help you gather knowledge, information and resources about where your qualification can take you and how to get there.

The subject does not offer a work placement component.

GWP100 (HDR) will be delivered face to face on Wollongong campus, spring session 2014.

Are you eligible to undertake GWP100 (HDR)?

GWP100 (HDR) is open to all currently enrolled Higher Degree Research students studying at the University of Wollongong.
