Careers Central Internships [CCI]
(Voluntary Work Experience)
2012 brings a new and exciting internship opportunity for students wishing to focus on their professional development. With training and support from qualified Careers Central staff, interns will play a vital role in all campus activities staged by Careers Central.
We are now providing exciting projects for students studying in any of the following disciplines:
- Management
- Human Resource Management
- Psychology
- Marketing
- Communications
- Public Relations
- Event Management
- Media and Advertisement
Students will be placed in one of two stems Marketing/ Promotions or Human Resources.
Activities will cover our communications and marketing activities, our workplace learning programs and employer liaison, or student career support services.
Eligibility
Available to final year currently enrolled students studying in one of the above disciplines.
Training
Orientation and training provided.
Time Frame
Flexible - half day or full day placements, for half or full year.
Commitment
Students should consider a commitment that ensures they can maintain their university grades.
Other opportunities: Careers Central wishes to provide a comprehensive and valuable opportunity to its interns. Therefore, there may be opportunities to be involved in initiatives outside those mentioned.
