Jobs on Campus is a new Careers Central initiative which aims to centralise the advertising of all on campus Casual Jobs for students and prepares a Talent Pool of campus ready casual student staff.

Please note: Casual Jobs on Campus is restricted to Casual student jobs ONLY with any employer based on campus. It does not include degree related permanent, part-time or fixed term jobs on campus. These jobs should continue to be lodged as per the current process under the relevant section.

What assistance can UOW’s Careers Central provide?

We can provide UOW employers with our effective employer services to assist in connecting you with Casual student staff.

We can:

  1. Advertise your opportunity on our online Jobs on Campus JobBoard (your opportunity will appear like this)
  2. Advertise your opportunity on our office window
  3. Email your opportunity directly to our Campus Talent Pool students who have completed our tailored Campus Ready Workshop
  4. Receive applications from students on your behalf and assist with short listing those applications

How much does it cost?

To advertise internal Casual student job opportunities under the Casual Jobs on Campus initiative, NO charge applies for all UOW campus employers, which includes all campus tenants. This also covers any additional service requested such as application collecting and short listing.

How do I advertise a Casual position?

To advertise a casual position on our online JobBoard or to the Talent Pool, simply fill out the form below. Careers Central makes every effort to process your position within 24hrs. We will notify you immediately informing you when your position has been posted and where you can view it on our website. We will also be in contact to discuss any additional service you have requested such as application collecting or short listing.

Do the public have access to the Casual Jobs on Campus JobBoard?

Yes, we have an open site. Our online JobBoard is not restricted to UOW students; it is available for everyone to see. If you don’t wish your opportunity advertised on our public JobBoard, you have the option to advertise only to our Jobs on Campus Talent Pool students. For this option, please fill in the form below  and select "Careers Central to notify Campus Talent Pool ONLY.

How do I make changes to my advertisement?

Should you need to make any adjustments to an advertisement, simply email us at jobs-on-campus@uow.edu.au or call us on 4221 3325, alternatively re-submit your advertisement selecting correction in the Original/Correction* field at the bottom of the form.
