Faculty Based Programs

Our programs, services and resources can be generic in nature (i.e. they connect with all disciplines and all student cohorts) or they can be more targeted to specific faculty or discipline based contexts.

Faculty strategic goals will vary over time, however there are many examples of where Careers Central activities have supported faculty plans e.g. Learning and Teaching strategies around graduate qualities or Community Engagement & Work Integrated Learning Strategies.

The connections between career development learning and student motivation and completion rates is becoming increasingly important. Careers Central staff are designing and delivering materials within the curriculum for a variety of student audiences.

We have staged many team based activities which are multidisciplinary, and, disciplinary based (see Work Integrated Learning initiatives) – further supporting the objectives of employability and the development of the UOW graduate qualities.
