The Pitch YouTube Video Competition 2012

THE PITCH is a YouTube video competition run by Careers Central which aims to get UOW students involved in the Graduate Recruitment Season “MADMEN” style. In a nutshell it gives you, our students, the opportunity to pitch yourself to graduate employers. It also allows you to find out what they are looking for in potential employees. You never know you may just end up landing the job of your dreams.

People’s Choice Winner: Announced Friday, 23rd March via the blog. Prizes awarded at the Autumn Careers Fair

Grad Recruiter’s Awards: Screened and judged Tuesday, 27th March at 12:00pm EST at the Autumn Careers Fair

MAD PRIZES TO BE WON

People’s Choice Award
The entry with the most ‘Likes’ on THE PITCH blog will be announced as the winner of the People’s Choice Award and will win an iPad 2  + Spend a Day with an Executive + Introductions to Professional Networks in the Industry of your Choice.

Grad Recruiters’ Award
Excluding the People’s Choice winner, the next three entries to receive the most “Likes” will be shown at the UOW Autumn Careers Fair on March 27th at 12pm where a panel of Graduate Recruiters will vote and determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.

1st Prize – iPad 2 + Spend a Day with an Executive + Introductions to Professional Networks in the Industry of your Choice.

2nd Prize – $500 Myer Voucher + Introductions to Professional Networks in the Industry of your Choice.

3rd Prize – Spend a Day with an Executive + Interactive Resume designed by You . Me + Us (specialists in personal branding for the digital age).
