Add HEWSO to your resume!

The Higher Education Work Skills Olympiad (HEWSO) is a highly recognised work place experience program. It seeks to bring all the knowledge & expertise you’ve learned at university into a real-life working environment, to equip you with on-the-job skills and experience and gain valuable contacts with reputable organisations. Together with a team of students from a variety of disciplines you will be provided with a business problem from your host company and have 4 weeks to come up with a solution. The winner from UOW will then progress to compete against other universities.

HEWSO is open to all students at the university. The competition starts in January 2005. Students in their final year of study are encouraged to apply.
