Our monthly workshop series has just been updated with the September dates. Make sure to register early.

"So You've Got The Job - Now What?" This workshop is for students and graduates who have just obtained their first job. The workshop will include employee and employer responsibilities including basic employment law and workplace behaviour. Everything you need to ensure you make a confident start in your new role and make a good impression on your employer. A prerequisite for this workshop is that you have obtained employment

Learn how to be proactive and seek out knowledge which leads to opportunities. LODE UP ON JOB OPPURTUNITIES

Lode is a new resource to help students access employers' graduate programs, internships and vacation work programs - Students can create an online profile that showcases their skills and qualifications to potential employers. Employers can then search Lode and request profiles directly from the students that match their needs.

SIFE (STUDENTS IN FREE ENTERPRISE)

Apply now to join a community project for SIFE.  Students in Free Enterprise is a student volunteer program. 

Learn new skills – meet new friends – be part of the community – be a team leader – all valuable skills for future career planning and job search.

To be considered you must

  • be a current student
  • be able to attend monthly meetings
  • be able to spend a few hours on project work.

Students who participate in projects will be eligible to apply for the National Competition in July 2010 (travel & accommodation paid).
