XLR8 Your Career

XLR8  YOUR CAREER

Attend the UOW National Careers Fair
Tuesday 31st March - UniHall 10am to 2pm

This is your best chance this year to talk with employers (from over 70 organisations) who recruit graduates each year. They are interested in undergraduate and post graduate students - some are interested in all disciplines, some in specific disciplines, some focus on graduate recruitment whilst others also offer vacation work this coming summer (so this is good for 2nd years too). Check the list here /careers/assistance/CareersFair.html

To make the most from the Fair, check out the words of advice found here /careers/assistance/

Don’t be shy to dress a little smarter on the day - you want to make a good impression every time you meet an employer. It doesn't have to be the full suit - but it couldn't hurt. And it reflects well on UOW and therefore you benefit as one of our graduates.

If you cant make our Fair on campus - the Virtual Careers Fair is designed to assist students form all over Australia to access some great opportunities - hosted by Graduate Careers Australia - in tandem with uni careers services across the country - the VCF is open right now - from the 23rd March to the 9th April - 24/7!
Check it out here http://vcf.graduatecareers.com.au/

AND DON'T FORGET there are as usual lots of give awaysincluding five $100 gift vouchers from the UniShop (just make sure you bring your student card to go into the prize draw!)
