SYDNEY BUSINESS SCHOOL - GETTING A JOB IN AUSTRALIA

Come and find out about the Careers Service's new program for International Students.

The Certificate in Global Workplace Practice is a new program aimed at helping International Students find a job in Australia, at home and in other countries.

The program includes:

  • Workplace language
  • Workplace culture
  • Job seeking in Australia
  • Work experience placements

An information session is going to be held at:

 Room 3
 Sydney Business School
 10:00am to 12:00pm
 Friday 4th July (Week 1)

If you are interested in the program you will be able to register at the information session.

UOW HEALTH SCIENCES CAREERS FAIR 2008

The Health Sciences Careers Fair will be staged on July 23rd in the Foyer of Building 41 10.30 - 1.30. Organisations participating will be targeting students from the following areas: Biological Science, Drug and Alcohol Counsellors, Health Sciences, Psychology, Social Work/Sciences, Sociology, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Consultants, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Clinical Psychology.

Make sure you are there to get first hand information on graduate opportunities within the health industry.

GLOBAL CAREERS EXPO - 4TH & 5TH SEPTEMBER 2008 

Are you interested in working overseas?

The Global Career Expo is your chance to meet international employers with overseas work opportunities. The expo will be held over two days at the University of Technology, Sydney near Central Station in Sydney. The first day of the event will be your chance to gather information from organisations that interest you and attend organisations' information sessions. On the second day, students have the option of returning for interviews with organisations which interested them on Thursday.

Attendance is free, so come along and hear from and talk to potential employers from all over the world!
