2008 UNIVATIVE ILLAWARRA WINTER PROGRAM
Twelve teams (consisting of 75 students from UOW) have just completed the 2008 Univative Illawarra Winter program. After four weeks of intense research, the teams made recommendations/solutions on a real workplace issue confronting their host organisations.
Read what the UOW Media team said.
Over the years many local organisations have benefited from the insights, the knowledge and the creative problem solving which the Univative students provide. And the students themselves gain insights into real workplace issues and problems, as well as develop their employability skills.
Teams worked with Illawarra Credit Union, Thomas & Coffey Ltd, UniCentre Ltd, University Recreation and Aquatic Centre (URAC), Skilled Group and Internetrix.
Each participant received a certificate as acknowledgement of their participation in 2008 Univative Illawarra Winter.
The next session for Univative Illawarra will be held in Summer Recess 2009.
