All Social Sciences students can make an appointment through CareerHub for a free one on one appointment with the Faculty Career Consultant to discuss career direction and planning, resumes and other job preparation skills. Students are able to access these services for up to 2 years post-graduation

Roz has extensive experience in higher education and has completed post graduate studies in vocational education and training as well as frontline management. Her work history includes teaching in business and general education; holding senior positions within state and federal government and providing learning assistance and career guidance to university and TAFE students.
With 4 years’ experience working in UOW Career Central as the Work Integrated Learning Coordinator Roz has managed mentoring and work placement programs for students.
Roz assists students to identify career pathways that fit with their skills & interests, as well as general career related enquiries, resumes, job applications, interviews and employment options.
Nicole is a qualified careers practitioner who is passionate about connecting with students, industry and academics to enhance graduate employability and career outcomes for University of Wollongong students. With over 12 years of experience working in the Human Resources, Recruitment, Consulting, Tertiary and Careers Education sectors, Nicole utilises her industry knowledge, education and experience to coach and assist students studying within the Faculty of Social Sciences in a practical sense as they progress on their career journey.
Nicole provides one on one career consultations to students, resume advice, delivers career planning and job search workshops; and provides students with access to careers information and resources. Nicole also holds post graduate qualifications in Career Education and Development and has a strong background working in the career education sector; including various roles within the UOW Careers Central team such as Faculty Career Consultant- Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences; and Jobs on Campus Project Officer.
