Job Specification: The Biennale of Sydney offers internships to a select number of
applicants throughout the exhibition period. As Australia's largest contemporary international art exhibition, this
is a unique experience to work on a major arts festival. An internship with the Biennale offers a valuable and
worthwhile experience in the arts industry and an opportunity to contribute your knowledge and ideas. As an
intern at the Biennale, you'll be part of a small team in a stimulating and fast-paced working environment,
working on projects that build on and broaden your skill set. The Biennale welcomes students who need to
complete formal internships and industry placements as part of their university or college study. Placements
can be tailored to meet the needs of individual courses and we can offer written assessment where requested.
Internships are similar to working as a volunteer but generally involve more in-depth work on specific projects
for a longer period of time.
