Job Specification:

• Assist with researching and implementation of tobacco programs across the region.
• To assist in the promotion of the Smoke Free resource kit for Councils.
• To increase the number of active Tobacco Action Group (TAG) members.
• To assist with media releases for the smoke screeners website, for young people.
• To promote the Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS) and Kids program through health professionals and child care facilities.
• To promote the Tobacco and Social Equity Strategy and be involved in projects arising from the strategy
• To provide support to the Illawarra Tobacco Coalition
• Preparing information packs and mail outs;
• Telephone contact with other health professionals, clubs, or general public
• Other general assistance to Regional Programs Coordinator

• Computer literacy - familiar with and comfortable using a PC and general software such as Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
