Job Title: Sunsmart Volunteer
Job Specification: - To take a lead role in the delivery of Cancer Council Sunsmart
programs throughout the Southern Region of NSW
- Assist with researching and implementing the
SunSmart Program
- Assist in the organisation and delivery of SunSmart health promotion programs
across the Region.
- To liaise with early childhood centres regarding the SunSmart Early Childhood
Program and to arrange for presentations to be made to childcare centres
- To liaise with primary
schools regarding the SunSmart Primary Schools Program and to arrange for information to be sent out to
schools.
- Preparing information packs and mail outs;
- Telephone contact with other
health professionals, clubs, or general public
- Other general assistance to Regional Programs
Coordinator
Essential Skills: - Computer literacy - familiar with and comfortable using a PC
and general software such as Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to the team
- Good communication skills, common sense &
initiative
