Job Title: ENGLISH CONVERSATION TEACHERS - PEPPY KIDS CLUB, JAPAN.
Job Specification: TEACH ENGLISH at PEPPY KIDS CLUB in JAPAN. iTTTi Japan is seeking native English- speaking graduates and undergraduates of any nationality to conduct English conversation classes on a full-time basis at its Peppy Kids Club (PKC) network of classrooms throughout Japan. Several positions available Operated by iTTTi (Japan) Co. Ltd., PEPPY KIDS CLUB (PKC) comprises an extensive network of over 1,200 English conversation classrooms throughout Japan, with a total enrolment of more than 95,000 children between the ages of 3 and 15.
Essential Skills: A verifiable bachelor degree (in any discipline) Or a teaching-related diploma (with at least 3 years teaching experience) Mature, energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic with a keen interest in teaching and encouraging children Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team in a multi- cultural environment Results orientated. Able to devise practical solutions and take the initiative as required Neat, professional and well groomed
Desirable Skills: Native English-speaking graduates and under-graduates are engaged as English- conversation teachers on a contractual basis for an initial period of 12 months. Contracts are reviewable and renewable at the end of each contract period, and successful candidates can start work at any stage throughout the year. Formal teaching qualifications, including TESOL skills, are welcome, but not essential. These positions are suitable for graduates and under-graduates of all faculties who are looking to internationalise their work- experience and/or professional credentials, or to take a gap year to enjoy international travel and/or to generally broaden their horizons. They are particularly relevant to those graduates who are planning to go on with a career in the teaching profession at the early childhood, primary and secondary levels.
Additional Info: PKC is Japan's No.1 provider of English lessons to children. The PKC network currently employs over 350 native English speakers from Canada, Australia, the U.S. and Europe, and more than 1,200 Japanese nationals. Over 18 different nationalities are represented on our teaching staff, and we have several positions available at any given time. All new entrants receive thorough pre- departure briefings, and two weeks specialised training in Japan before commencing work. Low-cost accommodation and settling-in assistance is provided.
