Job Specification: Inala is a Rudolf Steiner Organisation caring for adults with a disability.
We are looking for two enthusiastic Registered Nurses. One to fill a permanent part time position currently 40
hours per fortnight. The other to undertake a term contract commencing January 2010 until December
2010.
You will be required to supervise the Ain staff to provide care and support to our residents who
have varying degrees of intellectual, physical disabilities and complex care needs. You are also required to
supervise staff to ensure facilitation of community access and social activities.
Essential Skills: - Current List A registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of
NSW
- Commitment to achieve positive outcomes for people with developmental disabilities.

Understanding and commitment to the Disability Services Act and issues relevant to people with disabilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to formulate and monitor individual client
case work and documentation
- Ability to liaise with relevant professionals and other service providers
- Previous experience working 'in charge of shift'
- Willingness to work within the guidelines of
Inala Ethos
- Previous post grad experience
- Willingness to undertake staff training and
development
- Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to learn to drive the Inala vehicles. A manual
drivers licence is preferable
