Job Title: Kids Friends Mentor
Job Specification: The Kids Friends Mentor provides free practical and social support and friendship to a child that has been identified as having a need for a consistent adult role model. Visits can take place at the volunteers home but may also involve outings or visits to other venues within the community.
Essential Skills: Enjoys spending time with 5-12 year olds, ability to commit to the program and regular visits with a child, excellent communication, interpersonal and liaison skills, warm and caring attitude, ability and desire to be a positive role model, likes having fun, doing a variety of activities and trying new things.
