Using field-tested strategies, systems, and tools that are unique in the industry, we help clients identify, develop, and deploy superior leaders. We are seeking interns to work with us one day per week over a 6 month period. If you are currently a 3rd or 4th year student, or you have recently completed an APS accredited psychology course, please read on! Being a Personnel Decisions International Intern requires you to work with us from 8.30am to 5.30am one day per over a period of 6 months. The selection process will involve the attendance of a half-day assessment centre during the second week of August 2008, and a mandatory induction day during the third week of August 2008. Successful applicants will need to be available to commence the internship from the week of August 25, 2008.
Essential Skills: PDI's Intern Program will offer you hands on experience working with Organisational Psychologists in our Sydney office. Successful applicants will have the primary responsibility for candidate care, test administration, scoring and norming data. We are seeking individuals who are: *Enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated to learn. *Willing to commit one full working day a week in order to gain a greater understanding of the psychologist's role in a commercial business context. *Keen to work and gain skills in a fast paced business environment. *Flexible, self-driven and committed. *Motivated to develop their technical knowledge of the psychometric tests used in an organisational context. *Interested in developing their technical, client service and administration business skills. *Seeking to enhance employment prospects through relevant commercial experience.
