Job Specification: VOLUNTEER IN COST RICA with YOUTH CHALLENGE AUSTRALIA!! www.youthchallenge.org.au ‘Infrastructure, environmental initiatives & women’s capacity building in Costa Rica’ Project dates: -Early December – mid February (10 weeks) What’s included? -Accommodation -Meals -Internal travel -Insurance -Orientations Why Costa Rica? * Learn and improve your Spanish by immersing yourself in community life with the locals; * Experience the beauty of one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world and contribute to grassroots environmental initiatives; * Work on a community-identified construction project that will makes a difference to the daily lives of community members; * Engage in capacity-building initiatives with local women’s groups and marginalised communities. Location: Lying completely within the tropics, Costa Rica is bordered by Nicaragua to the North, and Panama to the South. From the Continental Divide, its waters flow into the Pacific Ocean to the East and the Atlantic Coast to the West. YCA also provides assistance with fundraising!!
