Job Title: Volunteers to work with refugees and their families
Job Specification: Volunteers are needed to volunteer weekly, fortnightly and/or monthly
with refugees that are in community detention and detention centres. ALIV runs seven programs throughout
the year (and a few camps based around these programs). We need volunteers to help us in each of our
programs: Kids program Family program Charity program Child protection program Community program Adult
Fun program Adult English Program For more information on all these programs, please visit

Essential Skills: No experience necessary. Volunteers must be passionate about helping
people, and must know how to make boring tasks fun.
Desirable Skills:
Additional Info: Programs are based in Sydney, but there are many opportunities to
volunteer in and around the Sutherland Shire.
