Job Title: Volunteer fundraisers for a human rights conference
Job Specification: Volunteers are needed to help fundraise and work with people from all over the world affected by human rights abuses. In partnership with FRIENDS OF STARTTS (Services Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors) and ISHHR (International Society for Health and Human Rights.), we are looking for volunteers to help us fundraise and run projects in order to fund people from all over the world that are affected by human rights abuses to go to Peru later in the year for an educational conference. Volunteers can earn some really good prizes and rewards including a free volunteering trip to Peru to help run the conference and gain valuable experience in working with people from all over the world. The conference will be translated into English and Spanish and has 3 main aims. 1. For 1st world countries to educate 3rd world regions in overcoming the effects of human rights abuses. 2. For 3rd world countries to educate other 3rd world regions in process that have been successful in their area to combat the effects of human rights abuses 3. For 3rd world regions to educate 1st world countries on the real problems they face and the types of help they need. This will then be made into a learning resource and will be made available all over the world.
