Job Specification: This is a chance for a budding Photo Journalist/Magazine Editor to get fantastic experience in a safe and friendly environment right here at UOW. You will be responsible for sourcing photographs for articles, arranging photo shoots, ensuring appropriate image size and quality for publication in the UOW's award-winning paper, rock magazine.
Essential Skills: You must have an eye for detail and appreciate good photography. You must have a strong belief in deadlines and not be afraid of phone communication. While this is voluntary it is important that the applicant understands that this sort of experience is very valuable in securing future employment, so a dedication to and ownership of the position are essential.
Desirable Skills: Experience with photojournalism or artistic photography would be a plus, but by no mean essential. Available Mon-Fri, preferably available for one weekly meeting.
Additional Info: Most work will be done from week 4 to week 8 of Session.
