2006 SIFE Competition
Success again!
The SIFE@UOW team received three awards
and prizes at the National Competition held in Brisbane (July
6-8).
- Best Rookie Team
- HSBC Bank Best Financial Management Skills project
- Most Supportive Vice-Chancellor.
Prizes totalled $2250 and this will be added to their current
balance making a total of $4250; their ultimate goal is to
achieve $10,000 for a Trust Bank to provide microfinance for
projects in underdeveloped countries.
Congratulations to the team for their superb efforts and
hard work on their portfolio of projects which include the
UniBar Thursday Night BBQ, the Financial Literacy Workshops,
the Business Continuity Plans for SMEs and the EnviroChallenge.
