Careers Service Internship [CSI]

In Spring each year, the Careers Service recruits a group of students to become the Careers Service Interns for the following year. Penultimate students are targeted as the experience gained in the Internship program is invaluable when applying for Graduate positions.

The Interns become part of the Careers Service and are involved in many activities such as Careers Fairs, Market Days, liaising with recruiters, marketing and promotional activities, looking after our job boards and maintaining our careers resources and information.

As a result of participating in the Careers Service Internship program, each individual Intern will have developed an increase in confidence in dealing with other students and employers; an increased knowledge of the Graduate Careers market; valuable work experience to add to their resumes; the use of Careers Service staff as referees for future job applications; increased skill levels in teamwork, networking, public relations, public speaking and communication.

The Careers Service Internship program will be advertised on the Careers Service 'My JobBoard - Internships' in Spring each year or you can register your interest here.

Check out the CSI Activities here.
