Business and Community Organisations and the Certificate in Global Workplace Practice
The Certificate in Global Workplace Practice includes a 12 week work placement over the Summer break (December to March) that means there will be a number of enthusiastic and committed students available to work on projects and activities that Illawarra and Sydney based businesses would not normally have been able to complete.
Before being available for a placement, students will participate in a competitive selection process (including job application and interview) which enables us to assess the students’ readiness and suitability for an Australian work experience placement as well as providing them with a further opportunity to practice their job search skills.

Potential Employer Benefits
In addition to completing a project or activity that would have otherwise not been completed, this program will provide the opportunity for an organisation to raise their profile with student community, to assess the general quality of students available and to potentially target some students they may wish to recruit later.
