Pilot Program Spring 2007

In Spring semester 2007, a pilot version of this program was run for Masters of Professional Accounting students. Seminars were held that covered Australian workplace culture and job search skills.

Following a competitive selection process 26 students were placed for 4 weeks with employers in a range of industries in Sydney and the Illawarra region. Positive feedback has been received from both the students and employers, with many of the employers interested in being involved again. Students gained valuable experience of the Australian workplace and have an additional experience to include in the resume for their future job searching.
