Executive Director of Learning & Teaching
The Executive Director of Learning & Teaching, Professor Sandra Wills provides strategic advice and specialist support to the DVC (Academic) on strategies and innovative approaches relating to university-wide learning and teaching. Strategic teams working with the Executive Director undertake high level analysis of the University’s needs in relation to student learning and teaching support resources and provide an evidence-based approach to planning of the University’s capacity to meet current and emerging needs in these areas.
Current strategic projects include Graduate Qualities, First Year Experience, English Language, Internationalisation and Promotions Criteria.
As a senior member of the Executive Team of the Academic Services Division the role provides leadership in ensuring the functions of the Academic Services Division contribute to the strategic outcomes of the University. The Executive Director substitutes for the DVC(A) when needed.
