About Us

CEDiR seeks to further UOW’s outstanding reputation for learning and teaching. Our principal role is to lead and support the development, enhancement and sharing of scholarly learning and teaching practice, aligned to the university’s strategic directions and driven by current priorities.

To achieve this we support the professional learning of UOW staff in terms of:

• Teaching;
• Scholarship, innovation and leadership in learning and teaching; and
• Career development and recognition for teaching within the array of academic activities.

Our activities draw on internationally acknowledged research and engage us with faculty colleagues in collaborative research, to support and promote both scholarly teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
