Exemption

Academic staff members may wish to apply for a full or partial exemption from the University requirement to undertake the ULT Course as a condition of appointment on the following grounds:

1. possession of one or more acceptable alternative qualifications in tertiary or adult education; and/or
2. comprehensive documentary evidence of a high standard of tertiary teaching performance over at least five years – please refer to the ULT policy for further details.

Applicants need to complete the Application for Exemption form and lodge it with the Committee Secretary is accordance with the application deadlines. Applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their application.
