About the Gramsci Society
The Gramsci Society (Asia-Pacific) is part of the International Gramsci Society which was founded in October 1989 to facilitate communication and the exchange of information and ideas among the very large number of people all over the world who are interested in Antonio Gramsci's life and work and in the influence of his thinking on contemporary life.
IGS branches throughout the world provide the occasion for an extensive and informed examination of Gramsci's effect on present-day social, political, economic and cultural life, the various directions in which the interpretations and the uses of Gramsci's ideas have been developing and the diversity of Gramscian studies.
Members of the Gramsci Society (Asia-Pacific) will obtain:
