Biography

Laetitia was educated in France and the UK. She studied English up the MA level in France and then moved to Durham (UK) where she took up a post as lectrice. While she was teaching, she also undertook a DEA in semiology in France and a PhD in 17th century French Literature under the supervision of Professor Jan Clarke at Durham.  Her Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education sparked her interest in learning and teaching research.

  • 17th century French tragedy
  • Gender and power
  • French media and marketing
  • Learning & teaching, especially the integrated use of ICTs in the learning experience and the development of effective learning strategies for language learners.

Fellowship

Laetitia is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) since 2009.
