Biography

Susan is a lecturer in international studies, global politics and international political economy and she convenes the Master of International Studies program. Her research interests are broadly in the area of international political economy, specifically development theory and practices, aid and food. She has a strong interest in Southeast Asia. She published a book with Routledge called: The World Bank and the Post-Washington Consensus in Vietnam and Indonesia: Inheritance of Loss (2009).


Susan has broad professional experience in the government, community, and aid sectors and continues to be involved in aid through a volunteer role on the management committee of indigo foundation; a small, not-for-profit organisation funding community development projects in developing countries.
