Faculty Research & Postgraduate Committee (FRC)

Terms of Reference

The Terms of Reference of the Faculty of Arts Research & Postgraduate Committee follow University guidelines. The Committee serves as the primary link between the University Research Committee (URC) and its various committees and the research and research training activities within the faculties.   

Membership

Membership of the Faculty of Arts Research Committee is as follows (in accordance with University guidelines):    

• Chair: Associate Dean Research & Graduate Studies
• 3 Heads of School
• 4 Research Strength Director(s) and/or Research Unit Leader(s)
• 1 Early Career Research
• 1 Faculty Rep on the Thesis Examination Committee (TEC)

Non-Voting:

• Faculty Manager of Innovation & Commercialisation (MIC)
• HDR Student Representative
• Faculty Research Support Co-ordinator
• One member of general staff in attendance as Minute Secretary

Ex-Officio: 

• Dean
• Faculty Manager
