Assignment Cover Sheet
The Faculty of Arts assignment cover sheet is common for all disciplines and degrees within the Faculty.
Assignment Submission & Collection
Assignment submission:
Assignments are to be submitted by 4pm on the due dates as specified in the subject outline. Penalties apply for late submission. Submission of assignments should be as outlined in the subject outline.
Assignments must have a Faculty of Arts cover sheet. Please also check your tutor's name and include it on your assignment cover sheet. This is important so we can ensure your assignment is delivered to the correct tutor for marking.
Students submitting their assignments via Arts Central will no longer receive assignment submission receipts. Arts Central will use an internal receipting system to confirm assignment date submissions. Students are responsible for keeping a copy of all work submitted for marking as per the Academic Integrity and Plagiarism Policy: http://www.uow.edu.au/about/policy/UOW058648.html (see section 8 - point 6.d).
You should retain copies of all work submitted.
Assignment collection:
During session student assignments can only be collected from the tutor/lecturer of your subject at your class, or by a pre-arrangement with your tutor/lecturer.
At the end of session and after final grades are released, you will receive a SOLS message from the tutor/lecturer of the subject to confirm that assignments are marked and ready for collection from Arts Central. A list of available assignments is kept on the Arts Central counter and updated regularly.
Assignments are available for collection at Arts Central after the release of final grades as follows:
- 10:00 – 12:00 pm
- 2:00 – 4:00 pm
If you are unable to collect assignments during the allocated hours, you can provide Arts Central with a stamped, self-addressed envelope anytime and your assignment will be mailed out. Please mark your subject code on the back. Please allow enough space and postage for all your assignments to fit in one envelope.
Assignments are kept until the end of week 3 of the following session. Any assignments not collected by this time will be handed back to the Subject Coordinator.
Student results cannot be provided over the phone.
At all times it is the responsibility of the students to submit and collect his/her own assignments.
