Chris Gallagher
Visiting Intern
A visiting intern through the ICCS (International Council for Canadian Studies) Exchange Program, Chris arrived at the Centre in February 2004. Born in Montreal, Quebec and now a resident of Newmarket, Ontario Chris received an HBA in English/History at the University of Western Ontario (London, ON), and an M.A. in English at Lakehead University (Thunder Bay, ON).
While a member of the Centre, Chris editing the Peter Bregg Nortel Lecture, redesigned the Centre newsletter, updated the Centre website, and organized a number of successful events, such as Celebrating the Voice 4 -- Indigenous Literature Night 2004.
After seeing as much of Australia as he can, Chris will return to Canada where he hopes to continue his education. Chris truly cherished the time that he spent in Australia and at the Centre. He suspects that we will return to Australia one day in the near future. |
