Listed below is information to help you get to Wollongong and to work out where you need to go when you arrive. :-)
While you will have to pay to park in the University on Friday, you should be able to park for free on Saturday and Sunday. If you park off campus, there is, of course, no charge!
Driving: If you are coming from Sydney, take the freeway and follow the signs to Wollongong. As you come down Mt. Ousley into Wollongong, the University is on your right. Take the second off-ramp sign posted, “University, Keiraville, Gwynneville”, and then follow the University signs until you get to the main entrance. Turn left at the roundabout in front of the main entrance and then turn right at the next roundabout, which is in front of the western entrance. Once inside the grounds, take the first right and park in the high-rise car park at the end of the road. For a map, please refer to: http://www.uow.edu.au/about/contacts.html
Train: If you are catching the train, the station to alight at is North Wollongong. On Friday (but not on weekends), there is a shuttle bus (fare: $0.60) that will take you directly to the University. Get off at the Hope Theatre and walk down the slight hill to the right of the theatre and, then, on towards Building 19.
Check out the timetables for service at: http://www.uow.edu.au/about/transport/

Leisure Coast Limousine can meet you at your arrival gate and take you directly to your accommodation or to the University. The cost of this service is $40.00 for adults and $35.00 for students.
