Summer Session Research Scholarships 2008-2009

The aim of the scheme is to attract high quality prospective higher degree research students to the Faculty of Arts by providing them with research experience in an area of interest. It offers students an opportunity to evaluate for themselves, and to demonstrate to others, their potential for research work and to ‘fast track' preparation of their thesis. In addition, the scheme provides students with exposure to the research excellence of the University.

The awards are for a period of 10 weeks from early December to late February. A stipend of $2,000 is awarded to successful candidates.
