The Hon Julia Gillard will present the 2009 Sir Richard Kirby Public Lecture. The Kirby Lecture has been presented by figures of national standing since 1979, including Jennie George, John Hewson, Bob Hawke, Justice Michael Kirby and Julian Burnside QC. It is a public lecture and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Wollongong is pleased to welcome everyone from the community. Tea and coffee will be served after the Lecture in the McKinnon foyer.
