National Success for UOW PASS Leaders!
Bachelor of Arts Dean's Scholars student Brittany Reeves named as winner.
Judging for the Australian National PASS Leader Awards has just been completed at the International PASS Centre in the USA. The awards are designed to recognise the Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning that PASS Leaders make and received 25 nominations from universities around Australia. Two UOW Leaders have been named as winners. In the New Leader Category, Brittany Reeves, who supports the Arts faculty was successful and from Commerce in the Senior Leader category, one of our international student PASS Leaders, Amber Yan, was successful. UOW was the only institution to take out two prizes. Four other prizes were awarded to PASS Leaders from institutions in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
The Faculty of Arts would like to congratulate both Amber and Brittany on this outstanding achievement! Their prizes will be presented at the 5th National PASS Forum to be held at The University of Melbourne at the end of Sept.
