There are a number of ways that alumni can connect with the University of Wollongong, engage with current students and share their expertise, skills and experience.

Residents & Alumni Mentoring Partnership

WHAT? Alumni partner with students living in a UOW residence and mentor them on a range topics.  Mentors share their experience and could provide a “job shadow” opportunity for the student in their workplace.

WHAT? ITAP tutors strengthen Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students academic skills and assist students understanding key concepts and methodologies in their chosen subject.

WHAT? The Lucy Mentoring Program matches female law students approaching the end of their degree with senior professional women working in law and related fields, to provide a window into their work environment and career.

WHAT? Mock interviews are a great opportunity to engage with students or gain HR experience.  Alumni work with an experienced interviewer and learn how to provide constructive feedback to students to improve their job interview skills.
