Guy Warren Reception

The Honorary Chapter of the University
of Wollongong's Alumni Network hosted a reception at
the Wollongong City Gallery on June 24 to honour one
of their own. The reception was held to coincide with
an exhibition of works by Guy Warren, the distinguished
Australian artist who holds an Honorary degrree from
UOW and is Director of the University of Wollongong
Art Collection. The exhibition - Presence and
Landscape: Guy Warren in retrospect - features
paintings, drawings and prints reflecting Mr Warren's
life and work. It will continue until July 25.

Guy Warren and Mrs Sylvia Sutton with
the Guy Warren art work auctioned to raise funds for
Alkira Lodge, the centre which provides accomodation
for cancer patients receiving treatment at Wollongong
Hospital.
