Career Ahead Speed Interviewing is a mock interview program designed to provide final year UOW students with the opportunity to improve their interview skills away from the intimidating environment of a panel based interview. The mock interview program gives students the opportunity to be interviewed by successful UOW alumni and receive constructive face to face feedback.

Alumni are integral to the success of the program as they act as our interviewers. Alumni contribution ensures students enter the rigorous interviews ahead of them with the confidence to succeed.

What is Speed Interviewing?

Speed interviewing is a method of recruitment used as a way of interviewing large numbers of potential candidates for positions within a variety of organisations. It is basically the professional version of speed dating.

For this program UOW alumni (graduates) act as the interviewers.  Students will speak with eight alumni in total, spending ten minutes with each.  They will be asked a different question by each alumni who will then provide them with on the spot feedback about their answer.
