Multiplicity – A
Multiplicity explores the development of prints and multiples from
the 1960s to the current day. Drawing on the permanent collections of the MCA
and UOW, Multiplicity offers visitors the chance to see the evolution of
this influential part of contemporary
art practice across four decades.

Alumnus Develops World’s First Polymer Actuator ‘Fish’
Engineering graduate, Laleh Bayat Sarmadi, has developed a Polymer
Actuator Fish that will one day be able to travel through a human vein to
relieve a clot. Laleh hopes her invention inspires other females to study

Books
for
The Arts Chapter recently organised a book drive to collect
second-hand academic text books for universities in
Suzuki’s
Journey to Sustainability
On his final Australian tour, David Suzuki will share his views on the
environment at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre on 12 October 2006. David
will also present his autobiography and speak about his life at a networking
cocktail event to be held in the University Hall on 16 October 2006. Full details
UniMovies
UniMovies provides state-of-the-art screenings of popular
mainstream and limited-release films for the University community. Graduates
and University staff run every screening on a voluntary basis. Admission is
currently $4.00 for pre-purchased tickets or $5.00 on the night of the show. Upcoming movies
Volunteers
Required for Graduation Ceremonies
Nearly 3000 students will be graduating over eleven
ceremonies between 11 and 15 December. Graduation volunteers are required at
each ceremony to help greet guests and hand out graduation booklets. For more
