UOW’s Success in 2006 Australian Research Council Grants
UOW has secured 25 Australian Research Council grants, totaling $7.4 million. Researchers Dr Dan Li and Dr Clive Schofield both received prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Fellowships. Full story
1,000km Bicycle Odyssey to aid village in Guatemala
Masters student Daniel Gilfillan is completing a 1,000km bicycle odyssey from Wollongong to Melbourne to aid a small village in Guatemala. Daniel is determined to help the residents build a community hall and teach them English. Full story
Calling for Volunteers
Nearly 3000 students will be graduating over eleven ceremonies between 12-16 December. Graduation volunteers are required at each of the ceremonies to help greet guests and hand out graduation booklets. For more information or to register your interest email the Alumni Network.
Creative Arts Exhibition: Welcome to the Flight Deck
Over 80 students from the School of Art and Design will showcase their talents and ideas in the 2005 Graduation Exhibition. Open until Friday 9 December, ‘Welcome to the Flight Deck’ is a diverse collection of cutting-edge art and design. More information
Domayne Discount Evening
