UOW Wins National Indigenous Games
The UOW Woolyungah Indigenous Centre team has won this year’s National Indigenous Tertiary Education Student Games. UOW also hosted the event, which attracted a range of Indigenous sporting celebrities and university students from across the country. Read more

Twenty-one prominent alumni recently returned to the Wollongong campus to mentor graduating commerce students. Volunteers Required for Graduation Ceremonies
Nearly 3000 students will be graduating over 11 ceremonies between 17 and 21 December. Graduation volunteers are required at each ceremony to help greet guests and hand out graduation booklets. For more information or to register your interest, email the Alumni Network

The UOW Master of Science (Coastal Planning and Management) has been developed in response to the rapid population growth in Australia's coastal regions, and the raft of resultant environmental and planning problems. Thinking Prosecutions?
UOW is the only university in the Asia-Pacific to offer a postgraduate program tailored for prosecutors. UOW's unique suite of programs draws on both the Faculty of Law's expertise in professional legal training and the Centre for Transnational Crime Prevention’s network of professional experts. Asset Management Breakfast – 25 October 2007
The 2007 UOW and ANSTO Asset Management Breakfast is for prospective postgraduate asset management students, individuals and organisations, currently involved in designing and managing assets, and for those looking to be involved in the future. Guest speaker, Matthew Richards, Maintenance Engineer for ANSTO’s new $400 Million OPAL nuclear research reactor, will speak about the technical operation of OPAL and plans for OPAL asset management. UOW’s Senior Lecturer, Dr Richard Dwight will also present on UOW’s exciting asset management program. The breakfast is being held at the American Club, Macquarie Street, Sydney.
