James W Langridge
Vice-Principal (International), University of Wollongong and CEO & Managing Director, Illawarra Technology Corporation Limited

Jim Langridge has held the joint appointment of Vice-Principal (International) of the University of Wollongong (UOW), and CEO & Managing Director of the Illawarra Technology Corporation Limited (ITC) since 1990.

He chairs the University Internationalisation Committee and oversees the development of the international affairs of the University. This includes student recruitment and student exchanges, the Dubai Campus, the Wollongong University College (WUC), and major international consulting projects.

Jim holds a business degree from the University of Technology (UTS), Sydney, and a Masters degree in educational administration from the University of New England. Before joining the University his career was in the public sector in management and computing, including a brief career in teaching. He was awarded an Association of Commonwealth Universities Travelling Fellowship in 1985.

Jim is a Board Member of the Illawarra Technology Corporation Ltd (ITC), IELTS Pty Ltd, Al Jazeera Academy (Doha), the Forum on Education Abroad Inc (USA), and is a member of the AVCC International Committee. He is also a member of a number of international professional associations and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
