Deputy Vice-Principal (Finance and IT) 

Damien Israel

Damien Israel was appointed Deputy Vice-Principal (Finance & Information Technology) at the University of Wollongong in August 2007.

Damien is responsible for financial and information technology services. The Legal Services Unit and Print and Distribution Services Unit also report to Damien.

Damien has worked for the University since 2001. Previously he was Director of Financial Services. Before joining the University, Damien was Director of Finance for a large Area Health Service within the NSW Health system.

Damien is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business and Master of Accounting, both from the Charles Sturt University.
