The Learning Designs web site has been designed for teachers and instructors in higher education to access a rich set of resources that support the use of technologies in delivering high quality learning experiences for students.


 Good Practice: Quality Assurance Strategies for Teaching and Learning

Quality Assurance Strategies for Teaching and Learning contains a series of checklists containing ideas and practices drawn from the University community's knowledge of effective learning and teaching. They are in the form of non-prescriptive lists for each of the selected areas. Examples include managing casual staff, communication of quality assurance and encouraging teaching professionalism.


 What You Need To Know:

The What You Need to Know site contains a series of commonly asked questions about academic activities at UOW. It contains information about the responsibilities of teaching staff, honours supervisors, subject co-ordinators and assessment panels.
