Patrols and Emergencies

Security Officers are assigned patrols during their shifts. These patrols target:

• Crime prevention.
• Identifying safety hazards.
• Assisting people with directions or advice.

Officers also respond to different emergencies and fire alarms. Staff and students should assist by following the directions of the Security Officers in emergencies. Officers carry two-way radios which allows for messages to be expedited.
